"Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time...

"Had a lovely weekend stay at the hotel. The rooms are adequately sized with the whole "chalet vibe" and a view of the snow covered mountains through the balcony (don't forget to ask for the mountain facing rooms) ! More than enough storage space and decently done bathrooms. The hosts are very pleasant and happy to share local tips. My only gripe is that the breakfast could be better value (but I still suggest to take it, since there aren't really any other options around)"

family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay. Our only hesitation was a concern that after reading some reviews the hotel might be further from the main downtown area in Zermatt- psssh, perfect location just a short walk (and thats from a suburbanite american) from everything. "Every person at this property was exceptionally friendly and helpful (Quinten in the bar and Remi as one of the drivers were both great). The extra little touches helped to make for a wonderful stay - the breakfast was great, the shuttle to and from the lifts, the ski storage, the hot tub and sauna and even the attached night club ( Thu-Sat only)! The property is convenient located to shops, restaurants, bars, market and everything that you need for a perfect stay. "

"It was raining very hard when we arrived and we didn’t want to go out. The staff showed us to our rooms and arranged for a table at the hotel restaurant. The food was the best I had in Switzerland. Then the next day at breakfast the food was once again delicious and varied. Our room was small but fun and there weren’t many other rooms sharing the communal bathroom The biggest perk was the spa! "This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern.
