"Everything was really nice. The staff was very responsive. I am disturbed that telephones are in the room but are not connected, and in my case, don't even have a connection in the room at all. I enjoyed breakfast, and the lady who prepared it was really nice, but would love to have had regular eggs (not fried hard) or even hard boiled ones (I don't prefer scrambled lol)."

"Love this hotel! Location is great - in Mt. Airy with lots of food choices and neat stores. Beds were super comfortable and room was so clean. Best pet room we have ever had - well worth the 75.00 fee. We will definitely stay here again."

"Scottish Inns Collinsville is easy to get to, has straight-forward parking, comfortable queen beds, and heating-cooling units that look worn out but functioned fine inside the 2 rooms we rented. Room access cards did not work properly, required multiple trips to the front office, causing the poor lady in charge to jump through hoops replacing key cards and batteries in the card-programming machine multiple times. Bathroom shower and sink faucets put out spraying water as opposed to running...

"The guy checking in was nice and helpful. The room was not clean, had numerous dead bugs and live bugs. The door did not seal completely so I assume that is how the bugs get in. For $200 for our one night stay, I was hopeful for a cleaner room with no bugs. I feel like they sprayed for bugs, but did not go back to clean up afterwards. However, the beds were clean and really comfortable. So were the pillows! "

Lightbulbs were missing, our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes, the door had a gap at the bottom you could see through, towels were dirty, bathroom was terrible. It was just not a good place to stay but options are limited during race weekends."
