Lack of maintenance is apparent
The "Pay at the hotel" cost for our room (as listed in our confirmation email from Hotels.com) was $304.59, but my credit card was automatically charged $307.58 before we checked in. The door to our room did not lock when we pulled it shut from the outside, so we had to change rooms after our first night. The "motion-sensitive" bathroom light in our second room was faulty - it would never turn off so we had to keep the door tightly closed at night. The very tiny "lobby" where "breakfast" (scant) was available was closed until 8:00 AM each day. "Free breakfast" should not be advertised as a "benefit" of staying at this hotel! Two positive comments: the room(s) were quite clean and the lobby/night managers did try to help with the problems we encountered.
