Always a nice stay here. Pricing is great. Love the location when splitting our trip between 2 ski resorts.

Omg. I love this place. The manager was on site although they do a texting thing to get in which wasn't that much. Than they required a $100 deposit. Super fair. And the view , the fireplace , the location and everything about the room was fantastic . I would absolutely stay again. Fair prices , easy access to help when manager off site. Answered very fast and when on site he was very nice. Such a good decision.

Lovely property, well kept and clean when we first checked in. Rooms were a bit noisy due to being right next to a busy road, however the lake view was nice. Self check in was convenient.

October 2024. Leisure travel. Traveling with 2 teen daughters. The rooms are dated but clean and cozy. The checkin/checkout process was awesome! Loved that we just did it ahead of time online and they sent us the passcode for the door. Very convenient! There was a nice fireplace in the room that we turned on at night to warm up. We didn’t really need staff, but we did see a couple workers cleaning a room so we stopped to chat about things to do in the area. They gave us a great tip to go walk a trail along the lake in Tahoe City near “Jake’s On the Lake”. There was also a nice beach across the street from the hotel! Not a ton of food options around because it was their off season. It was pretty quiet! But, we found a great pizza place in Tahoe City for dinner and just had granola bars and fruit for breakfast that we’d brought. I would definitely stay here again, but would come during the summer season.

Need a car. The room itself was excellent. Some restaurants nearby. Beach is across the street. Service by phone was very good. Hard to get used to not having a front desk. When hard of hearing like myself it is difficult to talk over the phone.

Room was very clean and there was a lake view.
Not a great experience otherwise. After making reservation we got a text requiring us to submit our digital registration form to complete booking. I’ve never seen anything like it and I worked in hospitality for years. There were no less than 63 terms and conditions. Some typical hotel business but some pretty outrageous. $4900 charge to card if room is vandalized. Does this happen? By guests, break ins, bears???? Also $100 charge if you move the furniture. They required a photo of our drivers license or passport as well.
On their website they tout their contactless checkin which basically means you’re on your own. Received a code to access room but it came with an emergency backup code just in case. They provide a phone number to contact staff if needed but calls go unanswered and when they’re returned the connection is so bad you can’t understand a word.
Went to take a shower and there is a sign on the wall stating that you need to open the window or the steam will set off the fire alarm. Two problems with that-the window is seven feet up the wall so I couldn’t reach it even with the small stepstool I found in the bedroom. Also, it’s Tahoe so the bathroom is freezing cold with the window open. Website also brags about soundproof rooms but not so much. Heard the road traffic all night. Some previous reviews mentioned the complimentary breakfast but that’s no longer offered.

It’s one of these new high-tech places were you enter a code to get in your room? But the guy that was at the desk was very nice,
I was glad we had A room on the ground floor, because there’s no elevator, and we would’ve hated having to drag our stuff to the third floor up steps. And by the way, the place has no dollies to load your luggage on.

Conveniently situated in Tahoe Vista, across the road from the lake, next door to an excellent restaurant and a short walk to a great breakfast cafe. Room was comfortable but very warm as it was over the laundry and the a/c unit was very noisy.
