Don't arrive at check in time or you will queue
Budget hotel. Premium 'bayside' room had an bad view and balcony is locked. Awful 3pm check in system whereby I arrived at 2:50pm, went to the desk to be checked in. They checked passports etc and then said wait aside your room will be ready at 3pm. At 3pm the staff shout and everyone runs to the computers to carry out self check in and repeat the process to get your room key. Never experienced this before.

Not able to shower or bathe in a 4ft bath
There was a hand held shower head in a tiny bath. This made it impossible to shower unless you sat in the bath and held the shower head.
The staff were great and very helpful

The room was tiny, the carpet was dirty, the lobby was like a depot and smelly. The currency exchange machine was out of service. The bill was way higher than the booking price, staff blamed Expedia for the wrong room type and higher billing price.

Hotel position was ideal for us - Limousine Bus from Narita stops at the door. This area of Tokyo Bay is green, quiet, & close to trains and the new International Cruise Centre.
The only negative is that we booked a Superior Bay View Double room which is pictured with balcony. The “Superior” means it is on a high floor (18-20). But there is a notice in the room saying that the balconies cannot be used and the balcony door is locked.
The bed area of this room is very small with a 1400cm double bed between the wardrobe and window which has minimal access either side and only a light and very small bedside table on the window side (nothing on the wardrobe side).
There is plenty of storage room and the bed is comfortable, but in future I would book a different room with more space.
