Really lovely place right on Loch Fyne. A lovely walk you can do, off road, that takes you round to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. Lovely evening meal and breakfast Really friendly staff Gave a four not a five as no hot water from the bathroom sink tap but shower was lovely and hot

An absolute gem of a pub and experience from start to finish was the best we had in Scotland for sure. Property has a lot of history and it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind of a country Scottish inn. Fynes Ales a short drive away and was also brilliant. Best dinner we had in Scotland as well and you could tell all the staff care a lot about their inn and the people who visit.

We have stayed at this property on two previous occasions & returned due to previous positive experiences. This time we were quite disappointed with the quality & cost of our dinner - but the breakfast was lovely.

Gorgeous location on Loch Fyne with spectacular views. Individual units in detached building have wonderful balcony decks overlooking Loch Fyne. Some electricals need repair/maintenance. Menu is adequate... more carnivore than herbivore. A pleasant stay... large beds in detached building units, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Need a "room guide" to explain functioning of heating, etc. to non-UK residents. Only 20 minutes to Inverary Castle. Evening meal pptions aside from hotel are non-existant.

Lovely location- nice hotel
We had a good size room with large balcony, overlooking Loch Fyne for a two night stay. Friendly staff and a very good restaurant on site.

Sorry but this place needs a total renovation, staff weee nice but we just took 1 look at the room and could not stay there, we spoke to the girl at reception and she was really nice, she spoke to the manager when he started his shift and we got a total refund

Room was at the rear with poor outlook, also could do with updating. Food was exceptional, as was the service from very friendly staff. Hotel was in a good position by the loch, with good garden area. Apart from this room, an excellent stay.

We loved the location and that it was on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have parking on premises which was a huge factor for my selection. It is only about a 15 minute ride from downtown Inverraray. The food at their restaurant was excellent as well. The room rate also included breakfast. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The only issue I had was the door to our room was a little difficult to open at first but the fellow at the front desk came over to help me out and we were good after that.

Comfortable with friendly welcome.
A very friendly welcome but I was disappointed with a rather tired looking room at the back of the hotel. Having said that it was fine and comfortable enough. Large bathroom. The view at the front is lovely and it was nice to view that from the hotel garden. I had to leave before breakfast so I was provided with a nice packed lunch instead which was ready for me to collect. Very helpful. I think a few thousand pounds would be useful to spruce it up a bit! I think i paid way over the odds booking it on here but that was my choice for other reasons.
