Has potential but not there yet.
It was a mix of remodeled and totally a mess. It has potential but I don't think they care enough, or are willing to spend enough, to make it as good as it can be. The location is amazing so the potential is there. Our room was freezing (yes, 50 degrees) when we opened the door. No heat on and someone had left the slider open a crack. Had to crank the heat for hours. The room and bathroom have been remodeled but done in an economical, not classy, way. Weird mix of fake wood and plastic furniture. Shower took about 10 minutes to get hot water. The beds were actually very good and comfortable. The continental breakfast was disgusting. Hard, old bread and bagels and cheap, packaged danishes. Christmas decorations were still up and on breakfast tables in mid-February. Random furniture for remodeling was all over the lobby and hallways.

We stayed here for the ice fest. No regrets. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We actually booked a second night here after the first night went well. Yes, there's a lot of work that can be done, but for the price and location we would stay again. There were no bugs. The toilet and shower worked. The doors locked. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Hotel was ok. Clearly being renovated. There were maybe 4 or 5 guests the whole weekend (based on parked cars overnight.) We were there for 3 nights and on the last night, for some reason, the management put people in the room directly next to us - who proceeded to have a raucous party all night. We complained but nothing changed. Why, in an empty hotel, were they put next to us?

Best value in town this weekend, property was clean staff was friendly. Room is basic but had everything. Bed was comfy, bathroom had been remodeled, rooms had wireless chargers. Continental breakfast was pretty sparse, but otherwise everything was pretty decent for the price and great location so close to downtown and the beach.

Omg what a mess. There is too much to even explain. Supposedly there was some construction, but there was piles of stuff everywhere. The lobby was fine, but you could tell that was original. That area was fairly clean. But the rest was not. Elevators were old. The rooms were a hodgepodge of decor which some was new and some was old.
