Harrah's was fantastic! We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom had a fantastic walk-in shower.
As far as amenities, there was a food court, including a Starbucks and a few other places; nothing too fancy. Then there was a suit-down café. The prices were reasonable, and the food was good. Only problem I could think of was that it was only open for lunch/dinner Wednesday or Thursday through Sunday. That wasn’t a problem for us, but I could see it being an issue if you were there Monday or Tuesday.
In addition to enjoying the property very much, I’ve got to give kudos to the staff that we encountered there. Jessica was one of the bellhops who helped us in, and she was fantastic. I asked her how long she been there, thinking she must have worked there for years, and she replied 3 weeks. The following day I stopped at the bellhop stand for help and a man by the name of Bennie came up at the exact time that we requested. This man also was fantastic, going above and beyond, and helped me map out the route that we would take to Tennessee. He took into account the different types of roads and the time of the drive. Everything Bennie said was absolutely right and we are so thankful for the time and help that he gave us that made our travels easier.
