Alaska log cabins on the pond B & B

We had an amazing time at the cabins. Everything we planned we experienced. From the exceptional and outstanding ice fishing with Jim in his brand new ice fishing castle it was one of the best life experiences ever and this was the way to go. His ice castle experience was beyond what we imagined it is hands down a 5 star experience and so posh. We also got to experience the northern lights on our last night right outside of the cabins and talk about breathtaking pictures we got it was sure one to check off on our bucket list. The cabins were clean and cozy just perfect for our stay. Mahalo Jim for your hospitality we definitely will be back. Aloha, Joe and Ling

There was not hot water in the shared bathrooms, however, Jim and Syd were accommodating and allowed the guest to use their bathroom to get a warm bath. Other than that, everything was fine. In our first night Jim went to our cabin to wake us up to see the Northern Lights and sent me the pictures since I could not take pictures from my crappy phone lol. If you are for an adventure, this is the place to be.

It got to -30°s and the heater still worked great. The cabin was cozy with a little office area. The internet always worked. I really liked the little porch to sit on and enjoy the view. Best couple you'll ever run across. Very helpful and friendly.

Jim was very friendly and welcomed us to his cabins. The room was clean and his notes on northern lights watching was really helpful. He even woke us up for the northern lights. Highly recommend his cabins. We will be back for sure!

Private, secluded place. The cabin was wonderful, clean, a lot of things like spices, coffee, orange juice, breakfast was included which was awesome. Not only was I surprised at that, but surprised at how awesome Jim, the host and owner was. Incredibly welcoming, friendly, respectful, went above and beyond. Made sure we had towels, let us know when the northern lights we’re gonna happen, sent us a picture he took as well. Accommodating and we had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend!!

The host Jim is very friendly!! Cabin was very cozy. The only suggestion I have for Jim is to have a lamp in the room. But other than that great stay.

Cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful location between Fairbanks and North Pole. Quite and relaxing. Fire pits perfect for cooking and enjoying the heat. Very accommodating owners …have already recommended to others and we will definitely return.
