8/10 Very good

Clean and quiet in a central location with a decent breakfast. Nice staff. Our twin room had a very loose wc seat and the room was not serviced during our 3 night stay. I would stay here again.

Dated hotel but pleasantly surprised with condition of room. Breakfast was excellent and would definitely stay again.

8/10 Very good

The squinty floors unique. It’s a 500 year old building Worth trying The cooked breakfast wasn’t for me but nothing wrong with it but I preferred the cold one
Thomas, 1-night trip

Old building, very quirky. Comfy bed, plenty of not water. Good breakfast, pkenty of choice. Overall great value for money, will definitely use again 👍

Old coaching house

Old coaching house in central location. Friendly but needs a serious refit
Andy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

An old pub with lots of character. The upstairs accommodation takes you down a maze of corridors, which are very easy to navigate. The room that I stayed in delivered everything that you would need. The room itself could use a refresh in terms of painting the walls and running a carpet cleaner over the carpet. Over than that alls good for the money.
Barry, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff, nice food, comfy bed, spacious room, good central location, but accommodation areas in need of a fairly major refurbishment. Poor soundproofing so quite a lot of noise carried through from bar area. But we still enjoyed our 2 night stay. Car park limited spaces but free for guests if you can get a space.
brian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Parking poor, building in need of repairs, stairs narrow, uneven, bedroom window sash not operating fully,In need of lots of TLC !!!!!!That said food good, breakfast very good.Cook very good staff all were attentive and courteous and very helpful, let down a lot by the general condition…….
Reg, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The floor is not even and solid - it's slanted. The water pressure in the shower was so low there was barely any water coming out of the showerhead. Same goes for the toilet - the water pressure was so very low and takes forever to refill. The least one would expect in a hotel is - cleanliness, shower and toilet facilities in the room and it was a huge letdown for us. The bar toilet is very smelly Avoid this at all costs - I don't recommend this for families.
Nirav, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room 4! Wow that floor has some slope on it. Room was lovely and clean. Sad shower though. Couldn’t stop the water leaking under the screen. Had to use a large towel on the floor to stop the water running out the door. Great breakfast. Sadly the coffee still not working since our stay weeks ago.
Michael, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Bad service all round

Booking stated breakfast included. Had to pay for lukewarm breakfast as told Marstons had changed their policy AFTER we had booked. Surely should have honoured this and included breakfast.anyway it was not warm and staff couldn't care less
Ann, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We stayed here for a night so we could visit Stonehenge in the morning. It was a great little hotel. The amenities were clean and comfortable. The pillows were surprisingly quite nice. It was very good all around, especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again. Some things to note: the parking area fills quickly, so finding a parking space is a little tricky, at times. Additionally, there are A LOT of stairs throughout the building. To get from Reception to Room #01, we had to wind up and down a combination of 40-50 stairs to make it to our room (which was a little rough on my elderly father).
