Vila Alpina

The manager kindly booked us for late dinner the first night, which we are so thankful since we made friends with the staff at that restaurant and the food was great! The hotel is walking distance from everything and the stroll is so pleasant and lovely to and from the lake area.

Our New Year short break

Vila Alpina was an excellent choice,location was superb. Bled and Bohinj were beautiful places and we would like to see more of Slovenia. The restaurants that were recommended to us were 10/10 with great wine.

Great stay

We spent one night. The bed was very comfortable and had a great night’s sleep. The service was good and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants were in walking distance.

Beautiful, clean, new hotel.

This place is beautifu and cleanl. And its a short walk from the Lake and the bus route along the lake. It was raining when I arrived, so once I checked in I just stayed in the room and enjoyed the huge TV, the fridge and the natural ambiance of my room. I also enjoyed the heat! It got quite cold while I was there. I definitely enjoyed this as a place to relax. Only downside is no breakfast. Seems to be unusual to find a hotel with no breakfast in Slovenia. But there is a different hotel across the street that offers breakfast (14 Euros) if you really want it.

Lovely room, comfortable and clean. Nice and quiet location but only a few minutes walk from some restaurants and the lake. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Lovely room in a perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Alpina! The location was perfect - even though it's not in the main town area, Lake Bled is really about the nature. This hotel is perfectly situated for all of the hikes, boat tours, and sights. I'd really recommend staying here over staying in the town, which is only a 20-30 minute walk anyway. Our room was beautiful, cozy, and VERY comfortable. I travel regularly for business and pleasure and this was the best bed I've ever slept on outside of home. The only complaint we had was with one aspect of the service. There was no coffee during our entire stay. We kept asking when it would be replaced, but they never bought any new coffee. We had a lot of early mornings and late nights, so this was a bit inconvenient. We would have bought our own if the staff hadn't kept assuring us it would be replaced. However, this is NOT a reason to avoid this hotel. If we return to Lake Bled, we will definitely be staying here.
