This is easily our favorite vacation. The staff is very responsive, the cost of the property relative to its location and amenities are incredible. Walking distance to Venice beach, underground secure parking, pool and sauna are available for our use. We had a two bedroom suite with a balcony and it was the best time!

Central Location for fun
The apartment was great because it provided all the comfort amenities. Having two bedrooms and a living area made it convenient to conduct work while others were sleeping. We also liked that the facility was right across the street from Cheesecake Factory and a beach. It was also convenient to have Venice beach less than a 1/2 mile for outdoor activities.

Excellent place to stay for vacation or business. The Abode customer service team do a great job with communications and follow up on requests. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. We love this location close to many venues in LA, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Easy and quick access to LAX. We have been staying at this property for a month every year for about 5 years or more. We will be coming back again.

This is a great place. You get an apartment the size of a Junior Suite at any local hotel for a great price. Pool and Hot tub, Gym, and walking across the street puts you at a nice playground for kids. Has a big grocery store 9 minute drive or a small local market 5 minute walk. Beach (Marina Del Rey pier) is a 10 minute walk although you can make it to the beach much faster via speedway. Incredible value. Highly recommend.

Prechecking and checking were confusing

Property clean,comfortable and well equipped. The reservation process was a nightmare. They required selfie,selfie with picture of drivers license picture of credit card and further verification by completing amount over $1charged to credit card. Made me feel like a criminal. Access finding fob very confusing. I had to walk around the building in the rain and had to call Abode to direct me To the lockers. The Roku TV didn’t work the whole time I was there. There are no grocery stores pharmacies within walking distance. I wouldn’t stay with any Abode properties in her future.

Not very well kept... Some major problems....
I'm generally not a complainer, but when I arrived at the unit, -the PIN for the door did not work. I was outside at night for about 30 minutes, until somebody replied to my text and call. -I was so tired, so I just unpacked, and slept right away. When I woke up the next day, I realized the kitchen sink was jammed up, and the kitchen sink was leaking. There was water overflowing from the bottom(pics attached). No need to explain the stink/smell from the sink... -There was also a hole in the bathroom. -A lamp did not work. The lamp, not a big deal. The hole in the wall, also not a big deal(both of these things did not materially affect my stay). But the jammed and leaking sink was not a good thing at all. I complained and although the sink was fixed within the day, I felt that customer service was not really sorry about what I went through. They offered me 1 hour late checkout(from 11am to noon....). I'm sure it's not CS fault, but I really felt that Abode(the company I rented from), could have done a bit more for someone in my predicament.

Great location. OK place to stay.
A fully functional 2-bedroom apartment that needed fresh paint and some better lighting. Not quite depressing but tired in appearance. Scuffed walls torn carpet-with the tack strip poking through into your toes in the morning. Great location for the beach cities and Silicone Beach. The company was responsive but sometimes took an hour or more to get back to us. While not long by VRBO standards, there is no front desk. Our code to get in did not work which left us standing in an outside hallway for 45 minutes with our luggage after a long day flying waiting for someone to call or email us back. The “rooftop lounge” touted in the description is 2 metal chairs and a table squeezed between access stairs and HVAC equipment. More like a place for smokers to go off to than a lounge. The price was good for the area and amount of space. If the would just update the furnishings, paint and carpet it could be a really decent place to stay.

Insgesamt zufrieden Mit Abstrichen
Es gibt folgendes zu sagen: die Buchung gestaltet sich sehr umständlich, da der Vermieter Testbuchungen auf die Kreditkarte machen will um den Account zu verifizieren. Das finde ich nicht unbedingt seriös wenn man schon über eine Plattform gebucht und bezahlt hat. Der Check in erfolgt alleine, das wird aber alles in einer E-Mail beschrieben wie es funktioniert. Die Anlage ist aus den siebziger Jahren aber in einem sehr guten Zustand da jeden Tag geputzt und alles sauber gehalten wird. Die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft in einem guten Zustand allerdings teilweise verstaubt. die Lage der Wohnung ist gut , Man ist in 10 Minuten am Strand. Der Pool an der Anlage ist auch in einem guten Zustand, ebenso der Fitnessraum, der nicht besonders groß aber recht gut ausgestattet ist. Leider gibt es in der Anlage sehr viele Mieter mit Hunan, Das nervt etwas weil pausenlos irgend jemand bellt. Ansonsten ist die Anlage recht anonym, viele Wohnungen sind offensichtlich Ferienwohnungen die bei unserer Urlaubszeit knapp zehn Tage Ende Oktober leer standen. Die Anlage ist sicher, auch die Gegend ist sicher. Wir hatten keinen Mietwagen sondern sind in die Stadt per U-Bahn oder auch mal mit dem Bus gefahren das reicht auch völlig aus. In Los Angeles ist Autofahren auch kein Zuckerschlecken. Die Parkgebühren sind auch sehr teuer. In der Wohnung gibt es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, einen Toaster eine Kaffeemaschine, ein Wasserkocher und auch eine Spülmaschine. Dazu ein Fernseher.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful rooms, quiet, relaxing view of the pool and gardens. Staff responded quickly and graciously to our messages and requests. Will definitely return.
