Be aware - they overcharge

The hotel is unique and in a great location. Barristers restaurant meal was outstanding. My issue was with the clerk at checkin. She was incredibly rude and OVERCHARGED us with two transactions of different amounts. We had asked if we could split the 2 days and put 1 day on 1 card and 1 on another, and after telling us she couldn't split the bill she did it anyway all on one card, but one charge was for 1 night and the second charge was for our total charges. We realized it 2 days later and when we questioned it at checkout we were told "I don't see that charge" and that we would have to dispute it with our bank. It overdrew my account and took 2 days to correct with our bank. Teach your clerks how to use the credit card machine, because it was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating that the clerk at checkout made no effort to help us resolve it. Don't use "pay at property" unless you want to risk being overcharged and waiting to get your money back.

Very small rooms, cool design - may work for some?

Small. Very small. No table, nor chair in the room. Even if you wanted one, it's too small and no room for it. View? Nope, some type of a fake window that would not open, possibly into an elevator pier?

Charming but cramped.

This hotel is a renovated office building. It is quite charming in that respect. The breakfast provided with the room was quite good, and the waitress in the breakfast room was terrific. I'm afraid I can't say as much for the reception desk staff who mostly didn't speak any more than they had to. The room is too small and cramped for two people, with no good place to put or hang things. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was not strong when we got there but we were able to finally log on. A storm that night knocked it out and it didn't get fixed during the next 24 hours we were there.

If you’re looking for a clean, quiet boutique hotel would definitely recommend. The rooms are on the smaller side, but well equipped with everything you need. Great hotel restaurant with reasonable prices, be sure to check out the rooftop as well. Would rate 10/10.
