Great Bay Beach Resort, Casino & Spa

Front desk was great got my cabana suit the first day second day came back from the beach and the room was flooded with water coming out off the ac vent call for maintenance they say they will send housekeeper to dry it need it to be fix not dry so the move is to a regular cabana.when it come to all inclusive no quite only 2 choices of beers the selection of mix drinks very minimal and after you spend all day sight seeing you better be back before 5:30 pm pool bar closes so no more drinkin by the pool unless you go to the inside bar and get the drinks then when it comes to dinner you have 3 choices 1 is the buffet the second is 2 restaurant that you have to make reservations that is if you're lucky to get in they have about 40 tables only and only one of them is open each day so when you check in you need to run to the board and make those reservations quickly then when it came the buffet for breakfast no words a very 2 class buffet very few choices of fruits,breads,meats bad very bad.But on the other hand the employees are very pleasant and helpful.It might be that I'm used to what a real 4 or 5 star all inclusive are that me and my husband were very disappointed with this hotel.

Horrible stay. Do not book last minute especially as they will not allow you in any of the restaurants, only the buffet which was disgusting with no options. Flight had got delayed this "looked" like a nice place but in reality it is way different than the pictures. Extremely old and dated, be prepared for a totally nasty, uncomfortable room similar to prison. Except although I cant confirm this, the showers in prison don't make you stand in your own dirt because the water wont drain. Overall, just thinking about the experience makes me want to vomit.

Our stay at the Royal Sonesta / Great Bay exceeded our expectations. Is it a 5 star luxury resort? Not at all. But what it delivers is a well kept, comfortable location that is right on the beach. The perfect place to unwind and forget the stresses of everyday life for a few days. The staff was extremely accommodating and genuinely pleasant. The food and beverage service was more than adequate, always providing a wide array to meet everyone's tastes. The water was clear and warm and the lounge chairs and beach umbrellas were plentiful. Being a short walk into Phillipsburg was a bonus. The Royal Sonesta / Great Bay is definitely on our list of places to return to!
