If you're looking for even moderate luxury, this is not for you. We reserved the best room in the place thinking we were getting a bright beautifully decorated room as you see in the photos. It was NOTHING like the photos - dark, old, dingy, scarcely furnished with not a chair in sight. Don't get me wrong - architecture was there, and outside the room was just as the photos are. Also, it is advertised as having a/c. Our room had none. We asked to be moved to a different room on the main floor, and there was an a/c but it barely kept the room cool. (It was over 40 celcius when we were there). Thankfully it does cool down at night. All of this being said, there was hot water when you needed it, good wifi, helpful and pleasant staff, and the owner was a lovely man who brought us a half-bag of ice when we asked. You can't beat the location - deep in the heart of the medina. And there is a stunning rooftop deck that is a great place to sit at night - cool breezes and fantastic panoramic views. So, in conclusion, I would just say know what it is you're getting. Basic riad, rooms not like the photos, but still a pleasant enough stay all in all and a good authentic Moroccan experience.
