This is a First Class Guest House - we had Suite 11 and it was fantastic - a professional greeting from the owner Gary who was super helpful, great facilities, great location, great value - cannot recommend Craigatin enough ( special shout out for their amazing breakfast !!! )

Pleasant stay in charming town.

A truly wonderful experience. The comfy bed offered a great night's sleep. Gary, the innkeeper was exceptionally helpful. The Scottish breakfast was superb. Plus being only a 5-minute walk to the center of Pitlochery, and a quick 5-minute drive to Blair Athol distillery, was a plus. A real value for money.

Convenient and easy to get to. Clean and spacious room. We stayed in 11 which was so close to the car park and only had a few steps. Comfortable room, hot showers, nice big bed, delicious breakfast - try the whiskey porridge! We ate all our lunches and diners at The Auld Smiddy Inn and wish we couldn’t stayed longer!

Lovely stay in beautiful accommodation

Our stay was amazing with a lovely room and fantastic hand cooked to order breakfast . Only slight downside was that in -5 temps outside , the beautiful log burner was not lit and the lovely large room was chilly at breakfast time . We weren’t the only couple to mention this . This didn’t spoil our stay but it’s worth a mention .

We were keen to try the whisky porridge after all the other great reviews. It did not disappoint. The breakfast room is very nice. John was very friendly and recommended a nice scenic walk to Pitlochry over the dam and the Old Smiddy pub which was great. Walkable to the centre of Pitlochry. Would recommend staying.

Fantastic guest house

Perfection! From the welcome greeting when we arrived we knew this guest house was a gem! Room 9 is lovely, great views, spacious, extremely comfortable bed. Very clean all through the guest house. The breakfast was impeccable, great choice and the porridge was divine. The location is near to the shops and restaurants & railway. We will definitely go back when next in Pitlochry.

Outstanding Bed and Scottish Breakfast Inn!!

We had an amazing stay at the Craigatin House - John is an excellent host - very personable, helpful and he'll book dinner reservations if you like! Our room was charming and very clean - we had a two night stay and housekeeping was there quite early - we were pleasantly surprised the room was done! Breakfast is yummy! DO try the Whiskey porridge - you'll love it, as well as the full Scottish breakfast in the gorgeous sun room. The check-out was very smooth, and there is ample parking - included in the rate. We would DEFINITELY stay again at this wonderful, exquisite Bed and Breakfast. - John, THANK YOU FOR YOUR hospitality!
