Terrible experience. Staff are rude
The staff was terribly rude. They didn't provide us with the room requested. When we checked in they didn't tell us they weren't going to provide us with the right room. We only found out when we got to the room and it wasn't what we were expecting. When I returned to the front desk, not a small feat in the sprawling hotel, the attended was very condescending and treated me like a second class citizen because I booked on hotels.com. a manager called later after my poor check in review. He apologized but didn't do anything He said we would get a $50 credit which we never got. The hotel is very inconvenient to stay at particularly if you have a car. the parking garage is about a mile from the check-in desk and hotel rooms. We had to pay for parking and it wouldn't let us exit with our room key as we were told it should. We always had to call an attendent who would then run us through 20 questions prior to letting us exit the hotel.

In dire need of a renovation
The room was decent but at the end of the check in process, our check in receptionist told us he upgraded us to a nicer room. However, it was in a different tower and the room was very outdated. Worst, we had asked for one king size bed, and the room we ended up getting had two queen beds. The wifi was not working and I had to call IT support for them to turn it on. Even once on, it was very slow (too slow to work). The bed was very soft.

Room Not Ready by Check In @ 4PM
Hotel was great. Food was great. Activities in the area are plentiful. We are disappointed because when it came time to check in, the hotel told us our room wouldn't be ready by check in at 4pm because we had a "standard room". They told us "6pm would be the earliest if we were lucky", and we had tickets to a show that started at 7pm. So we had to upgrade our room just to check in at the hotel's check in time, because they didn't have our room type ready by the 4pm check in time they set. We were charged $45 extra, a night, because they were behind on their cleaning schedule. Whether this was a ploy to trick us into upgrading, or an unfortunate truth due to how busy or short-staffed they were, I don't feel like we should've been charged extra because they didn't have our "standard room" ready by 4pm. We didn't need or ask for the upgrade, we were simply told we needed to upgrade just to check in at the 4pm check in time.

Quiet room and comfy bed
A quick trip with my husband, we went for the Garth Brooks concert and also caught one night of NFR action. We stayed in the Palace tower. The room was large and quiet! Bed was super comfy and we slept pretty great, which is rare for us in hotels. The heat/air was quiet, we didn’t hear much traffic or hallway noise. We were there Wednesday-Friday, so maybe just a quieter time. If you haven’t been to Vegas in a few years, it seems to have gotten really expensive, so just be ready to pay extra for your bottled water :( .
