Spacious and Bodacious
Surprised to see how large my room was. There was essentially a full kitchen (minus an oven), desk area, vanity room and full tub/shower bathroom. The alarm clocks and tv were a bit older but functional. The hotel's location was good. I walked two blocks to dinner in the GW campus. 15 minute Uber to DCA airport. Walkable to White House, National Mall, Smithsonian Museums. The price was also very reasonable.

Nice Stay.
Only a couple suggestions. When cold outside the glass front doors on the north entrance make the lobby cold. We enjoyed the nearby Tonic restaurant, but did not realize Western Market was also so near and so close for many food options. I would let guests know of it.

Convenient, spacious & affordable in safe loc
Comfortable, convenient, and affordable little gem just steps from Department of State and GW University and also not far from Kennedy Center and the National Academy of Sciences. I was quite surprised and pleased by how spacious my room was, what with a full kitchen and powder room (!). The only downside was that the hotel has two entrances that are some walking distance from one another. The Grubhub and Uber guys kept going to the wrong entrance, so make sure to enter the actual street address for the entrance you want them to go to (don’t just put State Plaza Hotel).

Convenient to all
We wanted a centrally located hotel with parking. Although it cost $50 to park overnight, it would have been the same just about anywhere in DC. We walked to the museums and had dinner at Dupont Circle. The accessible room was perfect with hand rails to make it easy-to-use. I will stay here again!

Wonderful experience with my family. Can cook in the room with refrigerator, dishes, bowls, and a gas stove. Workers are so friendly, kind, and helpful when you ask with any questions. Walkable distance to the white house and things around the monument

Great location, spacious room, sparkly clean bathroom. Was able to walk to mall. Only thing was wall between our room and next was paper thin. We had end room with another room across/next in same tiny hallway…so maybe not all rooms like this. Could hear word for word phone conversation of neighbor, plus him come in and turn on radio 3:15 am
