RED ROOF PLUS IN NEAR UNIV.at Buffalo terrible!!!
When I booked online RED ROOF PLUS in Amherst near the university of Buffalo and was automatically charged by hotels.com
Once I arrived the man at the desk tried to run my card again and charge for the nights stay. When I disagreed he called someone and went into another language other than English. The phone call took a very long time and all I could understand was my name in that exchange over the Phone.
I received a hotel key card and when I went j to be room it had no way to turn in the T.V. . I left the room and asked for a remote control for the T.V. I tried to get back in my room but they kept card didn’t work because the battery in the door was dead and needed to be changed.
They told me it would take a few minutes several times, after 30 minutes I was able to get back into my room at 11:00 p.m.
The curtains were broken so privacy was an issue and early morning light was annoying.
I took a shower but even with the drain open I stood in a pool of soapy dirty water.
No refrigerator in room, no remote at first, key card didn’t work, tried to charge me again, broken curtains. Will never stay there again and I advise people to never stay there ever.
