Runway Hotel

Needs better up keep. Cutlery and crockery was not always clean.

I was pleasantly surprised , excellent hotel and staff, best value for money and we would definitely come again

Friendly staff. The restaurant staff were very helpful. The room was nice and clean. I would have liked to have a mini refrigerator in the room though.

Beautiful place! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for it! Could have done without the loud music playing every night while trying to sleep! After the stay, I noticed the hotel description did say 'evening entertainment!' My mistake I guess! Pool in the center , next to restaurant is not private but I guess they're going for a pool party vibe! Not for me!

The staff was amazing they cared about the people. My first room was very noisy. Upon request they put me in a room back which was bigger as well.

Rooms are updated and spacious. Breakfast is very good but it would even be better if some local dishes, such as saltfish or smoke herring, were added to the menu. Dinner is excellent especially the Asian-influenced dishes. The restaurant has a nice romantic flare to it and it overlooks the pool. The location is literally 5 minutes from the airport but surprisingly extremely quiet, with no airplane noise whatsoever. The staff is very responsive to requests. The only negative is the wifi which has a weak signal that wasn’t strong enough to reach the top floor which is 2 floors above the ground floor.

I booked 2 nights, the night before my wedding and after , the room was really for my fiancée to get dressed for our wedding and for us to come back to after . Firstly everyone kept acting like we where not guest and kept asking questions like “are we guest” and “what room we’re in”. Secondly the room was never cleaned and towels where never refreshed so after our wedding we returned to a dirty room with no clean towels or sheets. Thirdly it was a big problem for her makeup artist and photographer to be in the room, even thought she explained it was her wedding day ,because mangement said there is a limit of 3 people in the room at a time, bear in mined they where just there to do makeup and take pictures and leave not stay the night plus her mom booked a room also and she was one of the person in the room. The property and ambiance is excellent but the customer service is HORRIBLE , I totally regret booking there.
