No Sleep

We were on the 3rd floor room 309 February 19th 2022. The occupants in the room right above us kept us awake all night. We made a call to the front desk and my husband also went down at 4 am, as we just could not sleep. When checking out , the workers said they were well aware of the situation and would take care of it. Only thing is did not offer us anything for our no sleep night. I started thinking about it and wanted to know what they would handle on the side of the people who caused the ruckus. I returned to the front desk and asked, then I asked why my husband and myself would not be the ones who should be compensated. I was then told I would be compensated and look for a email from the person who handles this. It's Monday 2/21/22 I was told to call after 10 am tomorrow.

Traveling team

Traveling with college wrestling team late checkin arrived at almost midnight. All rooms were ready for us. Smooth checkin and rooms were perfect just as expected from a Courtyard by Marriott.

Wouldn't stay again.

We had a 2 room suite, with a king bed and soft sleeper. Get there and find out the sofa sleeper is only a twin, had to give the kids the bed and I slept on the sofa sleeper. That thing is like sleeping on a pile of rocks, worst night of sleep in a long time and woke up stiff and sore. Breakfast was VERY limited. I wasn't going to pay $8 for a frozen breakfast sandwich they throw in a toaster oven.

It was ok.

Things were fine. The front desk people were quirky and a little unprofessional, but nice. The shower floor needed resurfaced because it looked old and stained. The pool was really really low water and the hot tub jets did not work. The pillows were really thin. We did not use the restaurant. The hotel was by the mall so good access to stuff.

We arrived early to discuss getting rooms near each other. They did block three rooms near each other for us. Which was great! She informed us we would have a balcony room. When we returned to check in, the room did not have a balcony room and the person checking us in seemed to be very rushed and anxious. The bartender was very pleasant and had great customer service. The rooms were clean but the shower did appear to need some updates. It had someone else's hair on the wall, kinda gross. The hot tub was open but the jets did not work. Pool is small. We loved being right next to the shopping area.
