Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland East-Beachwood

We booked the hotel as a layover on a drive to Detroit for work. We did not get into the hotel until 1:30 in the morning. When i got to my room there was no do not disturb hanger and at that time i didn't feel the need to call the front desk to get one. We would only be there until checkout the next day and normally the husekeeping staff know that the room will be checking put that day and can wait until after checkout at 11. Housekeeping promply knocked on my door first thing in the morning while i was still sleeping then walked in announcing they were there. They quickly exited and i went to the door to inform them i would be there until checkout. I went back to sleep and then had repeated attempts of the housekeeper staff to knock on my door and want to clean my room. If a room is on a checkout day they should wait until the guest has checked out of the hotel before attempting to clean it. It also didn't help matters that i was under the weather with a cold.

Not bad stay at all. Only thing I kinda complain. Which is silky was the pillows. Weren't firm enough to support. Had to use all 4 to just to sleep.

I was unfortunate enough to be celebrating my late Valentine's day away from my kids in a hotel full of hockey kids playing in the hallway all night, drunken chaperones, and a heating/cooling system that kept me awake all night long. Very romantic.

Trash can was not emptied from previous stay..the remote control did not work, the room was a little run down and cleaning staff entered my room at 11:30 as my room was listed as vacant..over experience not so we'll..they also charged my card $20 for incidentals and it has not been refunded yet after a prepaid stay..

Stayed two nights here. On the second night the couple staying in the room next to us decided to have a yelling match at 1am. Not the hotel’s fault. Our key card did not work to open up the door to the pool but the front desk worker helped us after a failed attempt at renewing our key cards.
