Courtyard by Marriott Baton Rouge Siegen Lane

This hotel was ok but not what I’m used to in a Marriot property. The pillows were horrible and my room shown its age. It was clean though. Additionally, my card was charged $20 per day for “incidentals” and then refunded after checkout. I assumed this was to encourage spending at the market or bistro since there was nothing available in the room:/

Pregnant lady was rude didnt tell us any prices just said we werw book in had alot of new people ask them not to give key 2 my HUSBAND an she gave him 2 keys roach n room bed comfortable bathrooms olds pool was okay nice supervisor very intelligent

The outlets don’t work near the beds. The chair is all ripped up, the TV kept going black screen, and it was nice to find a bottle of opened lotion on the floor when I walked in.

The air conditioner in the room never completely cooled. We noticed that the whole hotel was on the warm side actually. The sink was extremely slow draining. Kind of gross when you are brushing your teeth and washing your face and hands. The knob in the shower was a bit wonky. It worked, but you had to play with it a minute. The pool was nice, but they never had towels stocked. The beds were really comfortable and the staff was extremely nice. I would stay here again if the price were lower. I did not really feel that it was worth what we paid.

Love the area the hotel was located in. Around a lot of places to eat and the highway. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean, with plenty of fresh towels.
