This property as a whole has a lot of positives about it. Leading up to the hotel, it was a nice path and very pretty scenery. The lobby of the hotel is very elegent in representation and there is a hotel and bar (did not use) that are nice as well. The rooms are a bit outdated and evidently has moisture issues. The hotel seems to try and uphold a high and elegent taste, however, I was a little let down by the rooms. The ceilings were low in the bathroom, feeling almost claustrophobic. The upkeep from the moisture problem in the bathroom lacks as you can see the wallpaper peeling and black mild growing on the ceiling of the shower. The grout was in need of a clean as well. The entire time my husband and I were sneezing. I submitted a complaint to the manager at the front desk as I was checking out and only got a response of "I'll send an email so they know about that" and didnt feel as if it was a huge problem. We stayed on the 3rd floor and I looked out the window, thinking i was going to see a beautiful scenery- yet when I open the curtains, I felt as if I was staying in a hospital and was left with a scene of a roof and a worker walking around. The overall trip was nice but the room itself was disappointing.
