We stayed for 2 nights and i was impressed with the hotel. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and selection was plentiful. The only down side was the parking £15 a day i think they should review that policy but overall A+++

Great location and public areas comfortable and inviting, however the lake view room was smaller than expected and too warm. (The radiator couldn’t be turned down however there was air conditioning in the room but it seems environmentally unfriendly to have the heating and cooling working against each other). I do object to having to pay an additional £30 to park the car in the hotel car park for our 2 night stay. As I have previously stated the hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t stay again as I don’t think it was good value for money.

From the moment we pulled into the car park we had a great welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were brilliant for the whole stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a little tour of the property when we checked in. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the lake. We enjoyed our meals in the dining room and had a drink in the bar. The room was comfortable and clean. It was as an easy walk to the ferry boat dock and to several restaurants and shops.

The hotel is tired and in a state of disrepair. There is no atmosphere and you only see a handful of people during breakfast. Breakfast was the best part of our stay. It’s a shame because from the outside, the Hotel looks impressive and is in the best location with spectacular views of the lake. However, we will not return.
