Sad day for the grandkids....and me!
I was extremely disappointed. I booked this hotel because I was taking my grandkids to COSI in Columbus, Ohio and then we were going a nice Hilton hotel with a heated swimming pool. But when we get there I'm informed that the pool heating works sometimes and this wasn't one of those times. It ruined our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. I never even imagined an issue like this at a Hilton. Not only that but the pool room was quite cool also. I was not the only person with this issue. At least 2 families cancelled and went somewhere else because of the pool issue. I booked through hotels.com and I would have had to stay right there and get them on the phone to cancel because the front desk clerk said we have to go through hotels.com to cancel since it's a 3rd party situation. I've done that before but it was at least 45minutes to an hour to do that on a Saturday night so I didn't. We definitely would have stayed somewhere else if we had known. The room was fine and the breakfast was good.
