Desk clerk extorted $20 from me for a half hour early check in fee, even though I was not going to the room, nor did I ask for the key at that time. My wife and I had an event away from the hotel, and would not return until late in the evening. The room had been paid online earlier, and the clerk was non informative on the hours of the breakfast, which was 9 am closing time, and we went down from our room at 9:05 AM the next day for breakfast (too late). The same desk clerk booked a future date room for us, gave us no definitive dollar amount for the room (we had paid $79 for the previous nite). This clerk was not very talkative nor helpful for someone staying there the first time. The clerk asked for my email, and said all done and the reservation confirmation would be emailed to me. Upon my return to my office, I found the reservation email, with the 2 nite reservation at a cost of $630.00 for the two nites. Fire the clerk, and get someone who knows how to treat customers with some care and kindness. Nevermore to this location for a stay!
