Hotel is just across Hakata Station. Lots of restos nearby, there’s a Daily Yamazaki and Family Mart near the hotel. Beds are ok, but a little dusty. Rooms are very small.

Very Good As Usual
Located in a convenient location. Only a little walk to Hakata Station. Everything as expected of the APA Hotel brand. Only thing this time was that the fridge was not working properly and it did not keep anything cold. Not room temperature, but not cold enough. But that is probably just a one off. Overall very comfortable as always.

Always a solid stay
APA is almost always a pretty solid stay, wherever you are in Japan. Great location close to the train station, great amenities, clean, and customer service was nice. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is we could not get the heat to stop blasting in our room; opened the window but then that would make the heat blast more. A/C is centrally managed and so we could do nothing about adjusting the temp in the room. Don't know if maybe there was something wrong with our room, but seems a little contradictory to claim "eco-friendly practices" when blasting heat with no control over it.

Convenient and Consistent
I've stayed in APA hotels before and will again. The hotels are conveniently located the rooms are well organized. Check in was a little slow because everyone had to use a clunky computer system to check-in. Staff did help move this along. This room had a very spacious bathroom and a window that opened, which was really nice. The staff is helpful and the public bath is always nice. The rooms are a little crowded with maybe 1 too many chairs and a couple of unnecessary bolsters, but overall the design is good.

Lucky me!
Nice and clean hotel chain that I have been booked for several times in different cities. However, an incident happened during the date I checked in. When I put my luggage outside my friend’s room for less than 3 mins (while I was helping her to settle down the room facilities), my luggage was suddenly disappeared. I was so nervous and worried and asked the front desk staff for immediate assistance and calling police. 10 mins later when I was waiting for further update from the staff, the hotel manager came and told me that he found my luggage. Strangely, it was took by the guest right next to my friend’s room. Although the reason I got was so unbelievable, I was still glad that I could find it eventually. Nothing was lost and I can continue my Christmas trip. Thanks for the help from the hotel staff.

I always love an APA hotel stay
I intentionally chose to stay APA as this was a three night stay. The baths were excellent, I like the fact they had outside ones. The pajamas to wear to the baths were comfortable. The pillows were incredible. I like that although the room is small you can store your luggage under the bed. I like that the TV shows how busy the baths are and what laundry machines are available. I stayed in another hotel after that offered reusable bath bags. This would be a nice touch. I appreciated being given fresh towels each day as I used mine in the bath but they came in plastic bags. A lot of single use items and they were plastic wrapped.

Very close from the train station, 5 minutes walking distance. There are 3 APA hotels nearby the area, make sure to check the exact location. The room comes with all the amenities. TV comes with all the movie channels plus so many Adults X-rated movies in case you get bored lol. This hotel is in the East side of Hakata station. If you go to the West side exit, it is way busier and there are 3 malls inside the station. So many dining options, theyre opened until 11-12 pm inside the Kitte building. The 2 -top floors and 2-lower floors have many dining options. Very close to go to the Canal city from the Hakata station. I like that they give 2 pillows. Maybe they can be a little more green by putting a basket outside the door to put all the towels and paper cups, instead of hanging all of them with a plastic bag by the door. Also maybe don’t need to put the disposable toothbrushes in the bag for everyday. Also the bathrobe maybe don’t need to be in the bag for everyday (cause some people don’t go to the onsen everyday). Some items maybe can be placed by the lobby for those who needs more. I just think that Japan hotels need to participate in making the world more green and eco friendly. I like that they put the spa stuff like face cleansing and etc in the envelope by the lobby. The hotel is very crowded all the time and elevator sometimes takes awhile. Theres also a swimming pool on the rooftop with great view and a nice lounge/bar. The onsen is great after a long day.
