I am surprised that the hotel is in a very good shape after all these years, service is maintaining at a reasonably level. However, I am shock that they still asked their guests to pay up deposit at their check in counter which I believe that most hotel in town had already removed this kind of policy.

We had such a relaxing and memorable stay at Hotel Royal Macau ...the immaculately decorated and spacious rooms exceeded our expectations and enhanced our stay. Highly recommended - Grand Lisboa was walking distance away so was the St. Paul Cathedral, yet the hotel was situated in a quiet area away from too crowded Casino areas.
