SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Univ. Research Park

My only complaint was that the hotel's pool was closed the entire time I was there. This was not the fault of the hotel. they have rules and a guest violated those rules, therefore they closed the hotel pool until that guest checked out.

For this to be a Marriott, I expected a much higher quality. The hotel room needs a major upgrade. My problem was the couch. The sofa sleeper mattress was HORRIBLE! Not comfortable at all, the couch pillows were ripped and the under carriage to hold the mattress on was ripped so the mattress could sink down threw the hole. The towel rack In the bathroom broke. The hangers in the closet were broken. The swimming pool/jacuzzi were dirty. The pool had a lot of hair in it. It was not a pleasant stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. We arrived a few hours before check in but they were very accommodating and provided us with a room right away. Front desk staff was very friendly and check in was quick and effortless.

I was greeted by very friendly staff with a very quick check in and check out. The hotel was quite comfortable and clean with very easy access to the highway. Even though it was a quick overnight stay, I would stay in this hotel again.

small, but clean and comfortable room. noisy as there were big groups of teens there at the time. They left trash in the parking lots that should have been picked up sooner.
