Econo Lodge

Overnight accommodations in Newton are pretty sparse. The Econo Lodge provides them. Everything about the motel is adequate, (except the window sill in the bathroom wouldn't latch). No surprises, good or bad, so ok.

The bedding could have been in a nicer fashion kind of dirty

If all you need is a place to crash, plus a free breakfast, and don't want to break your bank, stay here. But remember: you get what you pay for. This was a winter stay. The room was cold when we first checked in, but we managed to warm it up: the heater worked. The hot water didn't work. Ten minutes after turning it on, the hot water was still cold at night and lukewarm at best the next morning. The only electrical outlet is behind you as you stand at the washbasin. So, no electric razor, water flosser, or coded toothbrush. (An electric dryer might work.) As I said, you get what you pay for. Great for a one-night stay.

Inexpensive price and you get what you pay for. Someone smashed in the rear window on my car last year but it was not wrecked Thanksgiving night which was nice.

This property was great. The owners were very personable and friendly, the place was very clean and in good working order. On site washer and dryer worked well, front desk offered detergent and fabric softener, and a restaurant is located right next door. It had everything I needed. No need to leave at all. The breakfast in the morning was good as well.

Stains on the walls. Baby roaches crawling on bathroom and bedroom walls. The room had a bad odor. Empty toilet paper holder. Gross.

Excellent location and very reasonably priced. The property isn't as fancy as others in the area, but it's immaculate. There is coffee any time in the lobby and my room had a microwave and refrigerator.

I did not like the fact that I was not getting hot water in my shower. Other than that, this hotel was fine.

It appeared as though they had places new sheets on top of old dirty sheets that were stained. There was also no wifi and the bar is not apart of the Hotel, but next door.

The room had a bad smell. The toilet was built into a wall and was left unfinished. Very unsightly. Very disappointed.
