Not Quite What I was Expecting

Whilst the hotel is clean and the room was well fitted, I did feel it was too big for the site it was on. There is only one pool so with the majority of the occupants wanting sun beds it becomes a real scrum. I was staying in the last week of May, the resort was extremely busy but I don't understand why the pool bar and another bar were not going to open until 1st June. It meant all residents were cramed into one extremely noisy area. Not all of us want to sit through the children's disco or the bingo, we just want a quiet adult area where we can chat in peace and enjoy a relaxed drink. There is only one restaurant so again meals were taken in a very busy noisy environment. Whilst the food is fine its not very imaginative. Rather than call it a buffet, I would just call it mass catering in a canteen. I chose this resort having read the on-line write up. It said it had a private beach, whilst there is a sandy cove this is accessed walking down the rocky cliff or via the public path. The beach area is small and has no facilities/sun beds so beware. This is noted as a 4* resort. Personally I would rate it as a good 3*. Whilst the hotel and room was extremely clean and the staff are lovely, the facilities are not sufficient and the restaurant/food is not of good enough quality or standard to warrant 4*. Be aware that room 1115 - 1118 are above/next to a generator or boiler room (I couldn't work out what). There is a persistent drone/hum, impossible to sleep.

Fourth stay at this lovely hotel

This was our fourth stay at this hotel, as always really great stay , friendly staff, good choice of food from breakfast, lunch and evening meal, would recommend anybody to check this hotel if your looking for a nice break. Only a couple of points to raise, evenings entertainment isn't great, combination of acts brought in and the entertainment team is very "cheesy". Safe deposit prices high for the week and why isn't the gym included in the price, but would still go the pros far outweigh the cons

Nice cliff side hotel

A very pleasant stay, all the staff were very friendly, night time entertainment was good, the food was very nice with a very good selection that catered for all. By day would recommend the hire of a car to go and explore the rest of the island (car hire wont brake the bank) or get on the bus for a nice day trip to the local town of Citutadella where you will find enough to entertain all tastes.

Nice hotel but need more bar staff

Just come back from a week at this hotel. Lovely clean modern room on the first floor with a nice view of the sea. Food was good although didn't like the fish - tasted too fishy(!) so gave that a miss. Restaurant was really busy some days but always managed to find a table eventually. Celebrated my birthday while there and the hotel gave us a free bottle of cava and birthday cake when we went for dinner which was a nice gesture. Only one bar open all week and that was always busy - could have done with more bar staff. Ventured into cuitadella one day on the bus but not a lot there we didn't think but was a change of scene. Didn't think there was much to do outside of the hotel but didn't bother us as we just wanted a relaxing holiday.

Large resort-like hotel in Beautiful location

Settled on the cliffs just north of Ciutadella, this hotel had views from most rooms- sea, pool or cove. The rooms were comfortable, recently renovated and clean if a bit smaller than we expected. One queen and a roll away single. Drying rack and table on the balcony were great, fantastic shower. Most seemed to be on all-inclusive, we had half-board and enjoyed all/you-can-eat buffet in the huge dining room. The pool area is gorgeous, but salt water pool not heated, beware if you go in early spring. Pool games, kids club, friendly monitors, trails to hike around coves, sports center across the parking lot, mini-golf. Very complete

Great find

Friendly and helpful staff, plenty to do for the family if you want to stay at the hotel and relax or if you have a car and want days out, all inclusive is good value, free wifi in public places limited to 30 mins per item per day

Lovely stay

we were grandparents travelling with our 14 year old grandson and everything was just completely spot on! The flights with Monarch were bang on time, even a little early and the hotel was everything we could have wished for, the location was perfect, a gorgeous little cove where we snorkelled daily, a short bus ride into Ciudadella with its lovely marina, and the pools at the hotel were lovely, but I have saved the best 'til last!!!!!!! The food was the best food I have had anywhere on all-inclusive, fanstasic choice and all lovely quality. Will definately return.
