Great Sierra Hotel

Hotel was nicer than I had expected. Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. It’s an older place in the sierras - not the ritz - very nice for where it is and the cost. Definitely recommend on your way up or down the 395.

The Ruby Inn fit the bill after a long day of travel. The owners and staff clearly care about their Inn and want their clients to enjoy their time. Loved the in room coffee maker with built in grinder! Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Bridgeport!

This is an older hotel and feels like you're stepping back in time! It's very cool! That being said, the carpet on the bed frames threw me off as I am always concerned about possible bed bugs etc (I did not see anything!). I did find multiple hairs on the sheets/bedding which concerns me. There are not many other options in the area and I would stay here again but some of these clealiness issues are easy to fix.

Backpacking Launch Pad

I don't usually review accommodations, but The Ruby Inn was really special. The owners were so helpful and friendly, the whole place so well-loved and attended, it was a treat to be able to stay there while coming and going from a backpack trip in the Hoover Wilderness. We especially enjoyed a soak in the large hot tub. I really look forward to returning to this lovely motel and wonderful small town!

Cleanest room ever, smelling so good at arrival, appliances working great (coffee grinder/maker was terrific!), comfortable bed, very quiet friendly and kind owner. Only minus, wifi speed was very poor, but i used only once and maybe was a temporary issue. Will definitely go back
