Hotel Matilda

Our room was clean and comfortable. the hotel is modern and the front desk staff is very helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant staff left service lacking. Food was good but breakfasts there were somewhat stressful

Lovely hotel was lovely. We all loved it. The Art was amazing and the concierge services were terrific. Very clean and well appointed rooms. We would be happy to go there again.

We did a tour of other top end hotels in town and this is the place to stay. Amazing staff, big enough for amenities and small enough for privacy and comfort. Quiet location but on street with designer boutiques and very walkable to the zocalo. Beautiful building well built.

It was just ok. Very expensive for the area and for a poor restaurant. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, would try another place. Staff very nice.

I had a nice stay at Matilda Hotel however the restaurant wait staff at the Moxi restaurant was extremely slow. 30 to 40 minute wait to receive guacamole & chips. Also the room service staff never responded when I requested a pot of hot water as I was not feeling well, I had to call twice in 45 minutes. I complained but the Hotel Manager took 2 hours to call me. Also the hotel lobby furniture and Moxi restaurant furniture was cleared out 2 days in advance of "Day of the Dead" holiday to set up for their event. But hotel guests had no where to sit in the lobby and restaurant area looked bad with stacks of chairs everywhere and staff hanging lights. This should have been done in a collapsed schedule and at off hours.
