Mercure London North Watford Hunton Park Hotel (Now Open)

Booked this hotel for closeness to Harry Potter studio tour, very clean and staff very helpful. Only downfall is the hotel is extremely cold other than our room which we had the heating on all night. Was provided with an extra blanket on request. Small technical problem with the fire alarm going off in the middle of he night but only lasted a minute.. have us the shock of our life. Breakfasts delicious.

The hotel was still under construction and my room was not finished. I had virtually no hot water, tv was not tuned in plus food was poor.

I stayed for two nights, my room was very clean and comfortable and seemingly recently refurbished. I didn't eat at the hotel or use the pool but my impression of these facilities was positive. Reception staff were friendly and parking was easy. Wi-Fi was excellent and I'd be happy to stay here again. Only one thing missing is a gym!

The room was nice when we first went in but then we noticed lots of issues. The window steamed up and got worse overnight and after showers even with the door shut. The window couldn’t be opened as the latch was broken and the window mouldy. The shower base was broken and water going underneath and the kettle was covered in limescale. Some light fittings were broken on the way to the room also. We have emailed about this and awaiting reply.
