Wouldn’t stay here again
Check in went very smoothly. The lady at the front desk was helpful, kind, and informative. We arrived in our room which was spacious and seemed clean, although it did have a bit of an odor. The indoor “water park” isn’t necessarily a water park. If you’re used to wilderness at the smokies, don’t waste your time coming here. You’ll be very disappointed. All of this I could deal with for the price. I cannot, however, deal with rude employees. Our unit was a two bedroom which we were splitting with another couple. The king bed and living area were nice and comfortable, however, the 2nd bedroom was frigid. No matter what we did with the thermostat, that room wouldn’t get warm. I contacted the front desk, and they sent maintenance to the room. The man was kind and agreed that warm air wasn’t coming from the vents in that room. It’s the dead of winter, might I add. He left to get a key to check the unit. When he returned, another female employee came with him. She was not helpful and absolutely rude. She insisted that there was nothing wrong with the unit, and that it was only cool in the room because of the window. Mind you, both bedrooms had large windows. She said they could get us extra blankets, but that’s all they could do. So we just had to freeze for both nights of our stay. I completely understand that things malfunction and go wrong, however, if you’re not willing to make them right, you’re getting a bad review. I frequent this area often, and will not stay here again.

Kid Heaven
Overall a very enjoyable stay. Beds are firm but not the worst. Best for back sleepers rather than side sleepers. Kitchen well stocked and large space for our family of 7 to spread out. The indoor water area was a hit with the kids who loved the waterslides. If you are planning on staying for more than a couple nights I would advise requesting a room not beside the laundry dropoff, stairs and elevator. Was pretty loud late in the evening and early in the morning. Staff are great and facility is well maintained.

Very nice stay with the family
Very nice stay. Some places here and there on the property could use some TLC but otherwise the kids enjoyed the pool, very comfortable beds. Family friendly room.

Christmas in the mountains
Last minute change in stay was crucial, they had the perfect spot. Room was big enough for a late Christmas with family. Amenities were plentiful and customers service was great!

Overpriced
Convenient location, very friendly service. Dated facilities, not the cleanest, noisy, horrible lighting in each room, door knobs and toilet handles were loose, dirty windows. Our “Mountain View” was a rock quarry and small wooded area littered with trash.

Construction
Attempted to check in 1 hour early and was told we would have to pay $50 to do so. We were put in the building that an elevator was out of serive and being worked on, which was extremely loud. The construction wasn't communicated to us prior to arrival.

The room wasn’t very clean…. Stink bugs were everywhere and the door going to the balcony had cold air coming though it , had to put a blanket down at the bottom of the door to keep from getting cold in the room!!!! And the bunk beds were TERRIBLE
