Blue Horizon Boutique Resort

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our visit to Vieques. I couldn’t have been more satisfied during our visit, especially considering the island had only been open for 7 days since their Covid shut down prior to our visit. Everything was spotless clean. We had no concerns for our safety. The staff will not clean your room during your stay in order to keep them and the guests safe. However we did spill a drink on our sheet and arranged to have our sheets changed while we were out. There is a restaurant on site, we only ate breakfast there. If the dinner is as good as the breakfast, I would say, give it a try. For us the pool was a main feature that we utilized in the evenings. Watching the sunset over the beach while wading in the pool was an unmatchable experience. We felt very secluded from other guests as the rooms are a good distance from each other. There aren’t many rooms available which makes taking advantage of the amenities easy as there is no over crowdedness. A huge highlight was the very knowledgeable consierge Lulu. As a local she is was able to reccomend beaches to us based on the experience we wanted to have, and restaurants to go to - everything she reccomended was spot on! She was also able to help us reserve varies attractions that were considered “first-come-first-serve.” I I am very grateful for their knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this resort.

Beautiful facility. Beautiful views...great for meditation and contemplation. Chef was great.

It says the breakfast is included in the room, but when I asked for free breakfast during my stay, the staff refuses to give me free breakfast. It was so disappointing, I am not sure it is the problem of expedia website or the staff there. It was such an inconvenient.
