We stayed on a recommendation of a family member, and we're so glad we did. Check-in was easy, directions were clear, breakfast was provided, and the place was beautiful! When we left early the next morning, the attendant called us a taxi and had the dining room prepare us a breakfast to go, with pastries, yogurt, and bottled water. Extremely accommodating! Can't wait to return!

Beautiful hotel with lovely character. Stayed in a deluxe room with a lovely terrace & great views. All the staff from reception to those in the breakfast room were very helpful. Well located lovely hidden gem in Siena. Room was big and cool, breakfast was good with fresh pastries and assortment of meats and cheese. The staff were exceptional and really helpful. We have a lovely stay here. The only negative I would say was that the pillows were hard and uncomfy.

Very beautiful historic hotel in downtown Siena. It does not have elevators so you have to carry your luggage up, but does have a lift for handicap. The air conditioning was struggling to work however.

"Chiostro" has that special charm that an 18th century nun`s cloister can transmit. Unfortunately, the rooms, a bit basic in their furnishings but otherwise good-sized and comfortable, are in need of maintenance. In our case, we would have to turn the aircon off every night, as its noise made it impossible to sleep - luckily, if the room was kept at maximum cool during the whole day, the room would remain cool enough for the night`s sleep. The hand shower would not fit, and could thus not stay fixed, into its socket - hand held showering only! We can not really recommend "Chiostro".

The Abbey is beautiful, even more than the photos tell. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing! Furthermore, the staff were extremely helpful in ordering us a cab when we did our wine tasting in the countyside. I will absolutely be staying here again when I return.
