Stayed in this apartment hotel for 2 nights in Apr23. We spoilt the hair dryer before we checked out, but could not inform the office as we checked out very early in the morning and the office was closed. The next day, I received an email informing us that they charged CHF500 to my credit card for spoiling the hair dryer and the TV. This is ridiculous. Their email mentioned that they gave us a perfectly working TV before we checked in. How can they accuse us for spoiling the TV a few minutes after we checked into the room while they did not proof to us that the TV was working after we checked into the room. Instead, we discovered that the TV was not working, after we turned on the TV, minutes after we checked in. Immediately we called the office and shortly, one of the hotel employee came to take a look at the TV and tried working it with the remote but failed. He said he would call the technician to come. A few minutes later, another employee came and tried to work the TV, to no avail. Shortly after, she walked out of the room and came back with another lady to replace the TV.They left the room after giving us a working TV.If they have given us a working TV before we checked in, the hotel should inform us on that day, so that we can clarify and settle the matter there and then.Why are they doing it behind our back now? Emailed them several times to ask them to refund us the difference after deducting the damaged hair dryer but they did not border to reply. This is robbery!
