The hotel is clean, and Diego and his front desk team provided outstanding service! The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of Passeig de Gracia especially during Christmas when the street is beautifully lit.
However, the room temperature was uncomfortably hot, and the front desk informed us that the temperature is centrally managed and cannot be adjusted individually. When we opened the floor length windows for ventilation, it became noisy due to our first-floor location. Although earplugs were provided, sleeping with them for four nights was uncomfortable and ineffective against the noise. The hotel did offer to move us to a third-floor room after two nights, but unfortunately, we couldn't move as my Mom became unwell and needed rest.
Additionally, on one of the four nights, the housekeeping staff appeared to have washed our used coffee mugs in the sink but didn’t clean up afterward, leaving coffee water all over the bathroom sink. We reported this to the front desk, shared pictures as requested, and thankfully the issue did not recur.
Lastly, while the on-site restaurant is new, the food quality was disappointing.
The hospitality from the staff and the fantastic location were the highlights of our stay, but some aspects of the experience fell short of expectations.
