Ive never met a nicer group of people. We had a group of 8 and we all stayed in the large room, plenty of room. The establishment was clean and the hospitality was top notch! It was the most fun ive had in a long time! We will definitely be back!

Sag Lodge
Small room with no view. Common kitchen is well equipped. Games, books, and the only TV are there. Canoes and sauna are nice bonuses. Sag Lodge is an hour from Grand Morais.

Great stay!
Beautiful location, Jessica and Bob were very helpful and friendly. Common areas (kitchen, bbcue, deck etc) were very well equipped. Perfect launching point for our boundary waters camping trip.
Leslie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff was great and very helpful!! The rooms were very clean but could have been a little bigger and have a chair to sit down. We were not a fan of the bunk beds.
Sandy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We arrived around 9PM and didn't know the check-in procedure. I called the host, Jennifer, who lives on site and she was very helpful. The Lodge looked really nice and the setting was right on the lake but since we arrived late and, we only had time to sleep and check out the next morning. We look forward to booking Sag Lodge again in the future so that we can spend more quality time there.

Ben and Dalton could not have been any friendlier or welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and the site is beautiful. The nice big common room with a complete Kitchen was a big plus.

Gorgeous, remote spot
My partner and I stayed two nights with our 1 year old pup and had a great time. The roads up the Gunflint were well plowed and the hosts gave us instructions for an easy self check-in. The room was affordable, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the upstairs shared kitchen/community space has a large deck overlooking the lake. Hosts were great with communication.

My wife and I stayed at the Saganaga Lodge on an extended weekend to do some hiking and canoeing. We arrived after dark with some rain and check in was easy our room was warm and welcoming and larger than we expected. We had our breakfast and a couple of dinners in the dining/commons area. Price was reasonable and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We will probably return. The lodge is next to a boat launch area so it was easy to launch our canoe. Very comfortable accommodations when temperatures were in the 30's and 40's F.
