Air conditioning needed repair and the shower water was hot or bowling hot, no cold water.

Great staff, but the rooms and common areas feel old and dirty. The hallway door to the room was loose and did not close property. Wind actually blew through the seal around the patio door Food was not very good in the restaurant. The hotel shuttle did not run until 5:30; we had to take a taxi to get to the airport for our 7:00 a.m. flight.

Staff and service overall were excellent. I was offered a room in both the new and older sections. The older room had a balcony and no stairs so that was the one I picked, although the newer room was nicer. Very comfortable bed! Towels were not so wonderful. Room had a few issues, but nothing major; broken window shade, TV did not work the last night. My toiletries were not replenished the 3 days I was there. Only 1 English TV station which was CNN. Basic but good breakfast. Pool was quiet. Glad there was a refrigerator. Front desk staff were especially helpful. Airport shuttle was timely and the driver was great with my luggage. I would stay here again but would request a room in the new section.

Great rooms, breakfast options were superb and beautiful views. Staff was very friendly as well.

Lovely staff, very clean, comfortable bed, nice pool area. Noisy as would be expected by the airport.

The property has no elevators which is hard if you have problems walking. We needed shuttle To the airport for 15 people and they seemed very concussed in the morning. Signs at the breakfast were in Spanish only English would be helpful for those with dietary needs.

The room was very small and on The ground floor. There were college kids and younger kids running around like ants. It felt like a party at a fraternity house. It took many calls to the front desk to get the noise down and it wasn’t until 11:00 pm that it got quieter. Not much help for our 4:00 wake up time.

Stayed there several times in previous travels. Always very accommodating and safe. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

We stayed here our first night innCosta Rica. It’s a nice place with tropical decorations and pool We didn’t get to enjoy much as we were on our way to Playa Hermosa, which was a 3.5 hour drive, by the beach. We flew in late and needed a reasonable place to stay with breakfast and a free shuttle from the airport. That worked fairly well. We called the hotel after arrival, Were told someone would be there in 15 minutes. Half hour later still waiting. It was irritating. And the driver wasn’t hospitable, not saying a word. But it was a free shuttle ( don’t forget to tip - while mostly Costa Rica has their own currency they’re more than happy to get US $ and tips have become widely accepted and expected. I suggest 10% overall). We were surprised at how American the country has become, though with many Canadian visitors and US currency in their cash drawers. Be careful to have cash handy. Their ATMs aren’t reliable, either out of cash or not working. But the people are overall very nice.
