This place may have potential, but sadly, it rests on its laurels and falls short on many levels. The general upkeep is a problem. There are gross carpet stains in the halls, water stains on ceilings, and the resort looks worn and dated, generally speaking. The restaurant service was disorganized, slow and painful to endure. The kitchen was also disorganized and the food was mediocre at best. We should have been partially comped for the meals and service, but there was no one in charge to speak to. The only saving grace is the view which is simply gorgeous with the fall colours. Is it worth the price of a night's stay at Hidden Valley, I don't think so.
