It is right off the tram / bus route, making it very easy to explore Bern without being right in town. Nice hotel, clean rooms and the restaurant seemed to be well visited.

The hotel was lovely with really good staff who were really helpful and gave good advice on public transport etc. The menu was good and we found it easy to pick things to our taste. The afternoon sorbets and coffee were brilliant.

The property is very beautiful. We didn't realize you had rooms with airconditioning but in Switzerland people don't typically ask. The fan in the room did OK. Your front desk help us with the bus tickets for the time we were in Bern, such a wonderful convienence. We enjoyed your breakfest each morning. I think you need a non-smoking are outside for dinner as my wife doesn't do well with smoke. Loved the hotel and your staff.

we had a roof unit without air conditioning. we were above the restaraunt facing the street. it was to hot to vlose the window and so noisy with it ooen we could not get to sleep.

Our room was in what looked like a new expansion of the hotel. On the first floor everything was modern and clean.Bed was comfortable and bathroom, although small had very good lighting and decent towels. The things I didn't like about it were, the hair dryer was obviously an old one and didn't work well. Soaps provided were generic and supposed to be used for hand,hair and body. Which I didn't care for.The room was very warm even though the outside temps were in the 40's o F. The a/c did not working correctly. It made a loud banging noise so we wound up just turning it off an keeping the window open and the noise outside kept me awake. We only ate breakfast there one day It was a typical buffet with scrambled eggs and some cold cuts fruits and pastres. Prices are exorbitant in Switzerland so we were not surprised by the 19.00 Franc cost per person but still didn't feel it was all that good for the price. There was at the time of our stay, construction going on outside hotel although we were not disturbed by any noise. We did have some difficult checking in.because the main entrance was not obvious from where we were dropped off and found it A bit awkward but we managed with some help by a gentleman working at the hotel. Overall it was not an unpleasant stay and we found the location very convenient for our purposes being between Bern, and a family members home . The light rail station was just outside the hotel, which made it very easy to get around.
