House of MG is a unique sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Ahmedabad. Located in the old city, the property provides a great location for sight seeing. The team at House of MG go beyond expectations, ensuring every element of your stay is absolute perfection. By far the best service of any hotel we have stayed at. The property is carefully curated, capturing the heritage of the property and local cultural heritage. Food at the property is second to none, as is the dining service. Staff ensure personal attention is made for all patrons and will especially cater for childrens needs too. As a Heritage hotel it was fairly unique but it was not kept as it should have been. Housekeeping was appalling, bathroom was not cleaned properly, towels were more grey than white. Breakfast was very slow, 7am apparently, but nothing was ready, cooked food still not available by 7.30 at times. Not much to choose from either and staff were quite slow. Food was okay, nothing exciting. We would not stay here again if we found ourselves back in Ahmedabad, Gujerat.

Beautiful heritage property feels like home very cozy rooms. Staff is super friendly and caring. They were extremely helpful in organizing and giving tips for our itenary during our stay. The pool is simply gorgeous. The thali experience was very memorable and quality of food was great. Made you feel like royalty dining. I will not have second thoughts of staying at this hotel again. Has to be experienced!!
