I liked that the hotel was right in the center of things, easily walkable to everything. My only complaint is that my room smelled. It was hard to keep the window open, especially at night, because of mosquitos, so I felt as if I were suffocating. The smell was chemical and musky, very disturbing as if I was being asphyxiated. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and friendly and all was well!

Much to my surprise this hotel is a great option if you are staying in Avignon and want to be in the center of the city. Just don't eat at any of the touristy restaurants, there are lots of great places in Avignon and the hotel can give you "Bonne Address". Staff is very nice, place is very clean and the breakfast was good for the price. overall great value

Overall the hotel was situated in the heart of Avignon. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was extremely helpful. It would have been nice if my hotel room would have had some more natural light because it was facing a small courtyard.

The front desk clerk who greeted us (Sorry I can't remember her name) was amazing and pleasant. Very helpful. When you return to the hotel, if after 10 p.m. , you must enter a code to gain entry. We did not realize this and rang the bell. The lady who came to let us in seemed quite perturbed that we had bothered her. Great location and great hotel, just don't disturb the night manager!!

Location was great, very close to the old town. The only thing is that we thought the property comes with parking as it shown in the picture, but after we spend 5 minutes drive into the town and arrived at the hotel, we were told that only available parking was the underground parking palais des papes which the entrances is another 5 minutes driving outside the town. Good thing is that the hotel offers discount and we left our luggage at the front desk while we went for parking. Other than that I was very satisfied by the room condition, it’s very clean and has everything we needed,nexceed my expectation for a 2 star hotel.

The hotel is dishonest and cheats it's customers. It's air conditioning broke down but they did not inform me beforehand or even when I was checking in. I only found out after got to the room. I checked out immediately after asking for a refund. I was told to ask Expedia. To date, neither the hotel nor Expedia has agreed to give me a refund despite failing to provide for air conditioning as promised (it was warm as the sun cooks up the room in the day). I did not even stay past an hour and the hotel has eaten up my money for three days worth! If they had informed me beforehand that the aircon was down, I could have cancelled for free. The hotel is now lying hat they turned down the aircon to comply with some energy saving nonsense rule. They are also deleting my posts. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP LIKE ME! Wish me luck in getting my money back!
