Beautiful hotel and spa in a great location; rooms are very clean and spacious and dog-friendly 10 minutes walk into town. Nice bar and restaurant. Only issues: I feel £30 a night for your dog is a bit high, compared to other hotels.

Had a fantastic stay at the wild pheasant. Staff are lovely. Room was for 3 but only set up for 2, the staff couldnt be any quicker having the room amended for the 3 of us. Afternoon tea was gorgeous , spa immaculate and not overcrowded. Enjoyed a shoulder and back massage to finish the trip. It was perfect. Also very close to the centre nice 15 minute walk along the river

Love the Wild Pheasant. Brought our 82 year old aunt for a few days. She loved it here as do we as we stay here every August. Myself and husband will be back in August. Food is amazing and staff especially Albie and Clare are so welcoming and very good with the customers
