On arrival, our check in was prompt. The bedroom did not have a remote for the T.V called the reception, they said an engineer will come to our room. 15 minutes later, the engineer arrived and said he will get a remote and walked away. 20 minutes he came back with a broken remote. He then went away again and said he will get another remote. He did not return.. I called the reception and they said the engineer will be back in 5 minutes. Guess what? No engineer. Eventually fuming i went down to the reception desk and asked what is the problem, it has been one and half hours since I asked for a remote! The receptionist had no credible answer. I asked for the manager on duty. They said he was busy. Eventually one staff called the manager, explained what had happened. I was then asked to return to my room, where yhe manager will meet me. 10 minutes later the manager indeed arrived, with a new remote and full of apologies. Later in the evening, I requested 2 bath towels. After 45 minutes and three calls to the reception, one bath towel is delivered. Eventually after 10 minutes, I receive two bath towels. Finally, following morning, just before checking out, our room safe doesn't open. Anyway that was sorted swiftly. In general very disappointed ...
