Disappointment
We had a wellcoming experience and the staff was mostly friendly. The restaurant is very nice and Antonio and his crew brilliant.
We however complained in the lobby about being in a standard room with no view when we had booked and payed for a deluxe room with ocean view. The staff did not listen or take our complaint seriously and we did not get any appologise or offer to change. We had our booking to show but they did not seem interested, said eweritjing was fully booked. Our room opened into another’s guest room while we where there and we could enter someone’s elses room and stuff one night. The door between the rooms was probably somehow insecure or had been opened by staff and not closed securely.
Another thing to critisise is that there is no spa there like they say in the info. There is a swimming pool and beautiful area but the spa is in another hotel owned by the same people.
We had some rainy days and did not have a car. It is not easy to walk around the are because of traffic. I would recommend a car if you stay there.
In general, nice if the weather is good, nice restaurant, nice swimming pool area. Not so good if there is somethong wrong like mistake they made or the location if bad weather. Expensive to pay for deluxe room with a spa when you don’t see these things.
