The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, guiding us through the whole Machu Picchu process. Ariana picked us up at the train station, walked us to get bus tickets, waiting in the Machu Picchu bus line with us, and even contracted a great guide for us. Just be aware that the hotel is up a few steep steps, nothing that you wouldn’t have to deal with at the archaeological site anyway though. The rooms were very clean, the beds were big, and the view of the town was nice as well. Finally, vocation was very convenient!

The atmosphere is reminiscent of a hospedaje, but the room itself was impeccably clean with large, comfortable beds and a fantastic hot water shower. Despite the lack of heaters, which made the room a bit chilly during our June stay, it led to a cozy sleep under the duvet. The owners were friendly and accommodating; we were especially grateful for the box lunch provided for our Machu Picchu trip. Please note: There are 60 steps leading up to the hotel, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

I cannot say enough great things about Naturalodge! They met us at the train station when we arrived, carried our bags for us, assisted me to get an additional room, provided wake up service, a delicious fresh cooked breakfast at whatever time you need (5 am for us), stored our luggage, and let us hang out in the lobby after check out! The rooms were clean and comfortable:) Everything was so accommodating! Just a warning that there are about 60 steps to climb to get to the hotel, but there are steps everywhere in Machu Picchu Town!! Highly recommend this hotel:)

Atenção para as particularidades da acomodação
O hotel é novo, fica no centrinho de Águas Calientes, perto de tudo e os proprietários são muito atenciosos e gentis, nos indicaram um ótimo restaurante proximo ao hotel e fizeram de tudo para nos satisfazer. Entretanto, a localização do hotel e o tipo de construção são os grandes problemas. Para chegar ao hotel é preciso subir uma escada bem íngreme de certa de 50 degraus, com um corrimão bastante danificado. A maioria dos quartos não tem janela para o exterior, mas, sim, para o corredor de acesso aos demais quartos. Como o hotel fica na encosta de uma das montanhas, o cheiro de mofo e a umidade são problemas graves. Pedimos para trocar de quarto e fomos imediatamente atendidos, mas se você não tiver sorte de um dos pouquíssimos quartos que tem janelas para a montanha estar desocupado, vai ter de ficar nos que não tem janelas para o exterior. No segundo quarto, pensamos que teríamos condições de ficar: havia uma cama de casal normal e uma de solteiro. A bacia sanitária não estava presa ao chão do WC, mas esse era um problema pequeno. Nos dias em que ficaríamos no hotel estava acontecendo um festival na praça, ao lado do. Tentamos fechar as janelas, mas aí, além do barulho não melhorar muito, o cheiro de mofo não ajudava. Conclusão, perdemos a reserva e saímos do hotel pois não era possível dormir ali. Se você for muito jovem e não tiver restrições de acesso, nem se incomodar com barulho, o hotel cumpre o que promete e a atenção dos proprietários ajuda.

Desde nuestra llegada nos atendieron muy bien y nos ayudaron a cargar el equipaje, todo el hotel esta muy limpio y parece que las instalaciones son nuevas, además esta muy céntrico y todo queda cerca,el desayuno es delicioso y siempre fueron muy atentos durante toda la estancia, nos recomendaron excelentes restaurantes y por el tiempo a nuestro regreso nos acercaron el equipaje cerca de la estación del tren para así no tener que regresar al hotel, además siempre estuvieron al pendiente de nuestra llegada vía ws y con disponibilidad durante nuestra estancia.
